Our shared responsibilities include the cultural and ecological systems that connect us, from estuaries to old growth forests.

The E2OG Gatherings are a key Westcoast IPCA Support Program (WISP) initiative organized annually by the IISAAK OLAM Foundation and the Canadian Indigenous Conservation Innovation Centre Association (CICICA). To continue the momentum between these events, smaller gatherings are also organized at a regional level throughout the year.

The E2OG Gatherings aim to bring together Indigenous Nations, governments, and their communities along the Pacific West Coast to strengthen relationships, so that we may all rise together for the well-being of future generations. These events include opportunities for knowledge and cultural exchange, dialogue, and relationship building. They celebrate cultural heritage, storytelling, and learning about Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) as a powerful framework for repairing and restoring balanced relationships with each other and the land.
